Help Rahab's Sisters organize supplies and donations and set-up for our Clothing Boutique and Supply Shops gatherings. Each Wednesday we open for women and gender-queer folks to access supplies and/or clothing in a boutique-like environment, help us set up and make it happen!
Organization and Prep Wednesdays — 10 am - 12 pm This role likely includes a lot of physical labor, and the ability to go up and down a set of stairs multiple times throughout the shift. If this is not possible for you, reach out to staff and we can find a less-strenuous way for you to help out. - Arrive at 10 am and get yourself checked in. - Help organize and sort donations and supplies as directed by staff - Hang up and sort clothing (by size and type) - Help set up downstairs for Drop-In Space in the afternoon, tasks could include the following - Setting up folding tables - Moving clothing racks, supplies, clothing, and shoes down the stairs - Setting up clothing on table and/or racks - Setting up supply bins - Setting up the food and drink station(s)
It is recommended that volunteers wear comfortable clothing and closed-toed shoes.
It is requested that all volunteers be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to be present onsite at Rahab's Sisters.
