Whether you’re running the distance, walking with a group, or cheering at the finish line, come together with your community to get active and give back.
The 4K4Community Fun Run is a 4 km (2.49 mi) running and walking event that raises funds for local nonprofits with programs that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion within their areas of expertise. 100% of your registration fee is tax-deductible and is donated directly to this year’s nonprofit beneficiaries: Birch Community Services, Forest Park Conservancy, Path Home, and POIC! The run starts and ends at Salmon Street Springs in downtown Portland, and after crossing the finish line, participants will head a few blocks up to the Migration Brewing PacWest patio pop-up (minors welcome!) for the afterparty! Celebrate with free beer/wine/drinks and snacks, as well as learn about the work these local organizations are doing to better our community. **Participants who register before September 12th will also receive a commemorative event t-shirt.** Stay up-to-date with the 4K4Community on [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/4k4community/) and [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/4k4community).
### Location The 4K4Community takes place in downtown Portland.
