The 4K 4Charity has passed the baton – get ready for the 4K4Community on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. The 4K4Community Fun Run is a 4 km (2.49 mi) running and walking event that raises funds for nonprofits focused on advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry and beyond. 100% of your registration fee is tax-deductible and is donated directly to this year’s nonprofit beneficiary, [POIC + Rosemary Anderson High School](https://app.fieldday.com/nonprofits/POIC_RAHS). ### To join this event: 1. Click **register** 2. Fill out the registration form 3. Click **complete registration** to pay the registration fee, which is donation of $35 to POIC+RAHS (or more, if you choose). If you lose the **complete registration** button, just refresh this event page and you'll see it again. New for 2023, the run starts and ends at OMSI in SE Portland AND includes a nonprofit fair! ### Location The 4K4Community takes place at the OMSI Bridge Lot (2201 SE Water Ave) located at the end of SE 2nd Place, between OMSI's South Lot and the Tilikum Crossing Bridge. The running/walking course will take participants over the Tilikum Crossing Bridge (a public transit and pedestrian-only bridge) and back. Those who registered before September 24 may pick up their event t-shirt at registration or during the afterparty.
